MESSAGE FROM MAYOR COFFMAN

At 7 a.m. this morning, the Beech Grove PD responded to a shooting at Park View Apartments. Two children were shot. They were transported by Beech Grove EMS to Riley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Within five hours, the Beech Grove PD arrested three individuals in connection with the shooting. I want to thank the Beech Grove PD for their excellent police work, as well as the other responding public safety agencies for their quick response. Due to the age of the victims, I believe it is important we communicate with the community what happened and thank our police officers for their work. Below is a video from earlier today when I was joined by Beech Grove PD officers to brief the media and public.
