UPDATING THE CITY's ECONOMIC & REDEVELOPMENT PLAN
The City of Beech Grove hired a consultant team to create an updated Comprehensive Economic Development & Redevelopment Plan. Our current economic development plan was last updated in April 2008. Since then, the City of Beech Grove has accomplished many goals from the past plan. We have attracted new businesses, experienced new residential growth, and continued investment downtown, the transportation network, and other quality of life enhancements. The City of Beech Grove is excited about the opportunity to continue to evaluate its present and future opportunities and create a strong vision for the City of Beech Grove moving forward.
The Beech Grove Redevelopment Commission has begun the process to add the 2025 Consolidated Economic Development and Redevelopment Plan as part of the city's formal redevelopment plan. The RDC invites all Beech Grove residents and business owners to review the plan in advance of a legally required public hearing, tentatively scheduled for Thursday, November 20, 2025, before the RDC takes the final step to formally approve the new plan.
