City of Beech Grove designated a Bronze Level CLEAN Community Challenge member. The City of Beech Grove is one of 18 cities in Indiana to have taken on the CLEAN Community Challenge offered by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. The Stakeholder Committee has come up with five goals to be met over the next three years, all of which are intended to improve the environment as well as our City.
Mission Statement: The City of Beech Grove is committed to preserving and protecting the beauty of its community through continual environmental improvements, compliance with requirements, making voluntary commitments and pollution prevention. The City will protect the community’s resources and will strive to enhance the citizens’ quality of life by providing a clean and healthy environment. The City will share environmental decisions and performance through community outreach programs with residents and industries Environmental Goals:
