Facilities throughout the parks include basketball, softball, baseball, volleyball, and soccer. The Beech Grove High School tennis courts are available for public use outside of scheduled high school activities. Educational sport programs such as softball and basketball clinics are offered periodically throughout the summer.
Contact the Parks Director to schedule use of playing and practice fields in the parks.
Athletic activities are only a portion of the scheduled activities for our Beech Grove Parks. They also offer numerous special events, such as the annual July 3rd Celebration with fireworks sponsored by the Beech Grove Promoter’s Club, live animal programs, and the annual Halloween Costume Contest, Easter Egg Hunt, and Visit with Santa. New summer programs for 205 include earth friendly crafts for school-age kids and adults, beginner yoga for ages 10 and up, CPR/AED certification, Safe Sitter certification and a bubble party.
Our Hornet Park Community Center offers a Fitness Facility for individual workouts as well as group exercise classes. The Center also has banquet and meeting rooms available to rent for your event.
