Meet New Fire Chief Robert Cheshire...
Robert Cheshire was appointed Chief of the Beech Grove Fire Department on January 1, 2012. Robert has been employed with the Beech Grove Fire Department for 19 years as a Firefighter/Paramedic, seven years as Injury Prevention Chief and four years as a Battalion Chief. He holds an Associate’s Degree in Public Safety/Fire Science and is a graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program. Robert worked at the Indianapolis Airport Fire Department for three years prior to coming to Beech Grove. He also served in the United States Air Force as a Firefighter. |
