Channel 13 On the Road to Beech Grove Sept. 13
INDIANAPOLIS - Channel 13 Eyewitness News is heading out across Central Indiana this election season to find out what's on Hoosiers' minds. We are calling it "Decision 2012: On the Road" with live reports in the early evening newscast from 11 Central Indiana cities/towns each Thursday leading up to Election Day. We are coming to Beech Grove on Thursday, September 13th. Eyewitness News anchor John Stehr will report live from 5 to 6:30 p.m. from Main Street where the Fall Festival is underway. After the newscasts, we are inviting the public to attend a town hall-style community meeting from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Beech Grove Senior Citizens Center. The focus of the September 13th town hall meeting is to listen to Beech Grove residents. There won't be any speeches or interviews with the city officials and politicians at that meeting. We are there to listen and find out what issues are most important to the public as they consider how to vote in November and why. When we know what's important to Hoosiers, we can let them know where the politicians who want their votes stand on those issues. Therefore, we want as many everyday citizens as possible to attend the meeting. Please join us on September 13th as we listen to the people of Beech Grove. We hope to see you there.
