Beech Grove Police Department Tips Line 317-782-4942
_The members of the Beech Grove Police Department strive to keep your community
safe. We realize that it is a cooperative effort and encourage your
participation and interaction with our department. Your tips, hints and ideas
often prove to be invaluable in preventing or solving crimes in and around Beech
Grove.
The Tip Line 782-4942 can be used to report tips on Any Criminal Activity, not just narcotics. We encourage the citizens to get involved and report suspicious activity in your neighborhoods. It will assist us in keeping your neighborhoods and the community of Beech Grove a safe place to live and raise a family.
Narcotics activity may be reported anonymously either by our tips hotline@ 782-4942 or by emailing CrimeTips. However, it is generally preferred by the Narcotics Division personnel that the identity of the complainant be obtained. This will assist officers if arrests are to be made and further questions are required by the investigator. If a citizen requests anonymity for fear of retaliation or any other reason, officers will conduct their investigation without the identity of the complainant.

- Whether the narcotics activity is occurring in a house or an apartment.
- The approximate time the activity is occurring
- A complete description of the dealer or dealers.
- The type of narcotics being used (cocaine, heroin, marijuana, methamphetamine, etc.)
- Where the drugs are being hidden if the suspected dealer is selling them on the street (if known)
- Whether or not there are lookouts to warn dealers of the approach by police officers.
- A description of the dealer’s vehicle if one is used.
