Sarah T. Bolton Park
is located at 1300 Churchman Ave.

Sarah T. Bolton Park originally known as “Beech Bank”, was purchased in 1930 from the Bolton Estate and was named from the lady of Hoosier poetry,
Sarah Title (Barrett) Bolton, whose home still stands on 17th Street. The park reflects the life and beauty that Mrs. Bolton often spoke of in her poetry.

Athletic activities are only a portion of the scheduled activities for the Beech Grove Parks. They also offer numerous band concerts and special events, such as Senior Citizens Day, Children’s Mornings, and their annual July 3rd Celebration with fireworks sponsored by the Beech Grove Promoter’s Club, the Fire Department’s Kids Fun Day, and the park’s annual Halloween Costume Contest.
Other programs have included magic shows, storytellers, dance troupes and drama groups.

South Grove Park is located at 1100 South 9th. Ave.
This park is adjacent to the South Grove Intermediary School and has a playground and picnic shelter.

The Beech Grove Parks Department aims to please the citizens and visitors of Beech Grove and is endlessly upgrading facilities and activities for the parks.

The Parks Department supports the planting of new trees and plants as one of the most important steps an individual or organization can take to restoring our environment. Donate a tree or a plant so it can be enjoyed by the entire community.

Hartman Park is located at 700 South 9th. Ave.  This area is filled with five baseball diamonds, which are used for summer baseball leagues sponsored by the Beech Grove Little League.

The skateboard area  is located in Sara Bolton Park and closes at dusk.
